The Ashoka Centre for a People-centric Energy Transition (ACPET) is a transdisciplinary centre with a vision to see the global south, particularly India, transitioning to a sustainable, secure, equitable energy pathway leading to the well-being of all on time, under the International Foundation for Research & Education (IFRE) at Ashoka University, is currently seeking proposals for 01-unit of procurement, installation, and commissioning of a Solar-Based Lift Irrigation Project at Rajahara, Nawabazar block of Palamu District, Jharkhand, India. The primary objective of this project is to facilitate the availability of irrigation water over a distance of approximately 1000 meters. This will be achieved by implementing a 7.5 HP Solar Lift cum drip Irrigation Pump System, constructing a Pump House, and laying a PVC pipeline to ensure efficient water distribution for agricultural purposes.
